"Lucy's Champs for Champ" is a research and arts project, in which Loch Ness & cryptozoology enthusiasts encourage young minds across the pond in their art, research & search for Champ at Lake Champlain.

Children around the world are participating in the contest. Those kids local to Lake Champlain or who visit the Port Henry, N.Y. area, can look for Champ in person, just like Lucy & Papa do in our story.

THE CONTEST IS NOT LIMITED TO LAKE CHAMPLAIN LOCALS

Children in other parts of the world can send pictures they draw or paint, or music and other art they create related to Champ and/or the story of "Lucy & the Lake Monster."

Just as 9 year-old Lucy Lago searches for Champ in our book and film "Lucy & the Lake Monster," kids can send their art & pics about the search and research of Champ. With artwork, we recommend taking a photo of the artwork and sending it to us if you want to retain your original copy.

All grade school age children (K through 8th grade) who create and send art, songs, poems, photos, or stories about Champ before the end of the exploration period, (April through May, 2024) to: richardrossi@lucyandthelakemonster.com will be eligible to win prizes including:

Tickets to a premiere screening of the upcoming movie "Lucy & the Lake Monster," meeting members of the cast and crew in person or by Zoom, a Champ toy plush, and a copy of the novel "Lucy & the Lake Monster."

When submitting material, please provide the name of the student, their grade, school, and teacher name, and the name, phone number, and email for their parent or guardian. Submissions chosen for prizes and exhibition will be sent a release form for a parent or guardian to sign on behalf of their child.
